Educator
Tim has over three decades of service as an Educator. His career in education began at the celebrated Seattle Children’s Theatre as Education Program Coordinator. At Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah Tim took charge of the interdisciplinary Music Dance Theatre (MDT) Program, a nationally recognized training program with a legacy spanning over 45 years and numerous alumni appearing on Broadway and in Broadway National tours. Throughout Tim’s tenure, the MDT program served as a launching pad for aspiring artists pursuing careers in the professional musical theatre industry.
Tim initiated the BYU BFA New York Senior Showcase that connected aspiring performers with invaluable industry opportunities. In collaboration with Rachel Hoffman of Telsey and Company, a renowned NYC casting agency, Tim directed the annual showcase in New York City for 19 years.

Education Career Highlights
Prior to his appointment as professor at BYU, Tim served as education program coordinator for Seattle Children’s Theatre. In addition to serving as coordinator, Tim also taught in their drama school.
Tim helped pioneer BYU’s BFA New York Senior Showcase. He fostered relationships with many industry professionals, including casting director Rachel Hoffman of Telsey + Company who has been BYU’s showcase partner for many years.
For more than 25 years, Tim has helped train and coach students who have gone on to perform in a variety of professional settings, including Broadway, national and international tours, and regional theatre.
